We requested the Civil Engineering Testing Center of Zhejiang University to test the reverberation time of Dancoo G quiet pod to better serve our customers. The test result shows that Dancoo G quiet pod's reverberation time of medium frequency (500Hz to 1000Hz in average) is 0.12s.

Reverberation time is typically used to describe the interior acoustics of a space. Commonly it is uneasily to reliably test the reverberation time in pods because of their small size and corresponding glasses. Full-size glass doors and glass walls are used on office pods to prevent the pods from becoming a visual barrier in the office. However, the surface area and thickness of absorptive materials inside a pod are good indicators of its acoustics. Besides sound insulation, it's also important to test pods in practice and make sure that speech sounds natural inside them.

Dancoo Quiet Simple Pods can be plugged into a standard wall socket. The pods have their own power adaptors that provide 12 V DC to the fans and lights. The lights and fans are operated by a patented system. Inside the pods, there are country-specific power outlets for charging mobile devices.

In all dancoo family, the power cables are led out from the bottom corners of the pods, or out through the ceiling. The cable length outside the pods is 2 m for single user pod, and 3 m for the rest pods.

Technically, you can always achieve the illuminance on the tabletop surface inside the pod over 500 lux, then the power consumption of the LED will be higher than 20w, it means you need more ventilation for the pod,more noise from the ventilation fans.

You are not encouraged to work long hours in a raised chair confined to the small enclosure of a pod, we set the illuminance within the pod to a relatively low range, and the illuminance is enough to make phone calls or use your laptop for work.
